Mindfulness meditations are a great way of coming to a calmer state of being. Since anxiety is epidemic these days, establishing a mindfulness meditation practice is a proven way to offset the intense stress that can surround us. Breath+ is a great free breathing pacer. It allows you to set the timing for your in breath, hold (if you want one), and out breath, (plus another hold if you want one). It has a visual and audio so you can watch for cues on breathing or just close your eyes and listen for the breathing cues. You can adjust the pacing on the fly. Great app.
